This March, join us in welcoming guest speaker, Gail Jackson Miller, as she tracks down those elusive Kentucky ancestors – including the notorious Harpe Brothers! Session 1: Born in Kentucky Your ancestor was born in Kentucky; but where? Learn techniques for finding the Kentucky origins of families who moved west. Session 2: Murder and Mayhem on the River: The Life of the Harpes The story of the Harpe brothers who terrorized the frontier of Kentucky and Tennessee from Cumberland Gap to the Green River in the period of 1797 to 1799.
