Welcome back to our video How-To series as we dig further into the Kentucky Historical Society resources! The first video gave you a virtual tour of the library and our on-site resources. This next video will teach you how to access our online tools: catalogs and collections. And while this video will help you prepare for a visit by learning more about what we have here on-site, it will also show you how to access images of a portion of our unique collection from home! Some of the highlights you will learn in this video: How to see images of family Bible records, photographs, letters, diaries, a list of our surname vertical files, the index for pre-1850 Kentucky divorces, artifacts associated with families, oral histories, early KHS publications (full text searchable articles), historical markers, and much more! Again, all of the resources covered in this video are freely accessible anywhere! BTW, before you get started watching this one – go grab a cup of tea and settle in – it’s a long session at 45 minutes!
